Robert Tomarelli is associate director for Gas, Power and Energy Futures North American Natural Gas practice at IHS Markit.
Mr. Tomarelli is responsible for natural gas storage forecasting and analysis, database management and modeling, and product and dashboard development and management. Mr. Tomarelli joined IHS Markit as part of the Global Insight acquisition, where he was an economist in the United States Regional Economics practice. In his 12 year career he has cultivated expertise in modeling, consulting, research, and analysis. He has overseen projects ranging from economic analysis for the Executive office of the Unite States of America, to developing market leading modeling practices. He has been an active member of the Philadelphia Council of Business Economists, and the National Association of Business Economists. Mr. Tomarelli was a presidential scholar at the George Washington University, where he received a Bachelor's in economics, and served as a guest panelist in the alumni career program.
